2011 GT3RS Undergoing GMG -WCGT ( Track package) conversion and 959 :)

Another World Challenge spec 2011 GT3RS that was purchased by a client int he mid-west.
He sent the car directly to us for the World Challenge ( WC-GT) track package upgrade.. We originally did the World Challenge package on this customers 997 GT2 a few years ago serial #001 for the WC-GT2 and from then on he was hooked and has been sending us every Porsche ever since.
The 2011 GT3RS you see here originally had the complete red deco kit. The customer wanted to tone down the red so the rear wing end plates, mirrors and front bumper insert were all color matched.
The GMG World Challenge WC-GT package is a complete performance package that has been engineered, tested, proven and available as a serialized package through our dealer network worldwide.
This car is serial # 014 for the GMG WC-GT3RS model.
Here are some pictures of it being delivered and hanging out with a older brother at the shop 87 959>
I will be posting pics as we move along in the build process.







The GMG World Challenge (WC-GT) package consists of 3 performance packages Level 1 , Level 2 and Level 3.
This vehicle is getting the Level 2 package:
GMG WC- GT Mono 19" Forged wheels 19x12 and 19x9
Pirelli Trofeo Tires
GMG WC Dog Bone Kit
GMG WC- Front bump and toe steer kit
GMG WC-Rear bump and toe steer kit
GMG WC- Thrust arm bushings
GMG WC Sway bar kit front and rear with bushings
GMG WC-RSR Adjustable thrust arms with anti dive and anti squat geometry
GMG WC-GT Sport header system with Sport catalyst ( proven power with no CEL lights)
GMG WC-GT Sport center section
GMG RSR harness bar/ half cage
Porsche Motorsport GT3 Cup front chin spoiler for added down force
GMG World Challenge competition suspension set up, corner balance, ride height and alignment.

The GMG-WC stuff made a huge difference in my car. Really adds a level of feedback that is unheard of in a street car.

This is only a Level 2 car..
Level 3 would see replacement dampers along with the Stoptech Trophy Kit upgrade.
That will come in the next round of mods once he is ready..
We like to build a car to a customers skill level and upgrade the car as the driving and skills improve.. Anyone can throw a bunch of parts on a car and give back to someone and then the owner is lost because he has no idea how to take full advantage of the upgrades.
We work on improving a drivers ability along with the car. This way there is a true evolution and improvement in the abilities of both man and machine.
I cant tell you how many times I talk people out of uprgades they think they need. We consult with clients and find the best package for them based on there specific needs.
In the end the best way to improve a car is to improve the ability of a driver first.
This is only a Level 2 car..

Izzone, I wish GMG was in Florida too! I stop by GMG every January when I am in the Anaheim area for my industry's annual convention. I look through the glass windown out into the shop and drool!!!!
Hey GMG, what is the reason for sticking with 19" wheels? I always thought 18" was suppose to be better? Is it because the stock shocks etc are set up for 19" wheels?
