Seriously?

Hats off to Champion if they come to market with a well researched and tested Ohlins solution.
Stay tuned.
There will be specific applications for GT3/RS's and turbos. They are working to achieve precise valving specs / requirements. There's one certain very smart guy leading the R&D. From my conversations this will reset the standard for coilovers.
Still will be a fews months away. Of course as with quality, it will be pricey.

I put a Guard 40/60 LSD in my 997S and it was great. When I switched to GT3 the OEM LSD was terrible in comparison. Fortunately having Guard rebuild the GT3 LSD with their parts is a lot cheaper (about 50%) than having to buy the whole LSD like you do for a 997S.

I went with 50/80 for the GT3 rebuild and would do it again - great on track and I don't really notice any difference on street compared to the 40/60.

Matt rec'd my LSD unit, rebuilt it and shipped it back to the shop I used the same day - great service and product. Matt also tested my stock LSD before rebuilding it and said it had "0 function" - the car had 8000 miles with just a few track days and the stock LSD was shot! There are some good threads on this here and on Rennlist if you search.

Very good post.
Totally agree the OEM LSD = POS.
btw have you thought of doing the Guard R&P (4.125)?
