what i saw today made me jealous...
i was driving my red gt3 today and right next to me was a red/tan 348 spyder and red/tan 355 spyder. as much as i like my porsche there is no substitute for a red/tan f-car. the 348 spyder ,IMO was a real looker ,esp. with the top down and being in mint condition. there is no substitute for a ferrari convertible.

What I did tonight:
Buddy picked me up in his 360 Modena (red/tan) and we buzzed across town to see a dying friend. Ride was great. Better? No, just great.
Ride home just as great. Really nice quality materials, unbelievable noise from the engine and pipes, but....
1) based on what our purpose was tonight, it made no difference if we were in a pickup truck... and
2) I still love the visceral experience I get in the Porsche. Nothing brings me that kind of driving pleasure.
But hey, if you love the Ferrari, go get one. For me, all I can hope for is my friend's easy next few days.
