Pirelli question

The 19" Corsa fronts are back ordered on Tirerack and there are very few rears left. Is Pirelli discontinuing production of this tire?

I've already read that Pirelli is no longer going to make the Trofeo.

Am I going to be stuck with the Cups or have to get a separate set of wheels/tires for the street and track?

Michelin is about to release its Pilot Super Sports and they are supposed to be outstanding. Here's a link with info:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ot+Super+Sport
These may provide GT3 owners with an additional option.

The Super Sports are closer to the PS2 than the PSC's or Pirelli Corsa System.

Kumar, get wheels for the track with slicks. Not as much sliding around.

I know some do not care for them but as a track tire and also useable DD imo the Toyo R888's are the ticket.

The Corsas are not discontinued, just in short supply at the time. They may eventually replace them with the Trofeo, but until they give the market an idea on when they plan to resume development of them it's hard to say.

Too lazy honestly. + I'm still learning on R compounds. Too early for me to switch to Hoosiers.

Thanks

Would it be a bad idea to run Trofeos in the rear and keep the Corsas in the front until they wear out?

Use the same tires on the front as you do on the rear.
