Quote: No prob, Thanks Jbigelow01, If i can I want to try to help others out as im sure Ive asked many questions and People help me out on this forum and rennlist so returning the favor is the least I can do.

as for the lip, I just heard from GMG and they said its now 220 for that cup splitter. I wonder why it went up in price.

Skip GMG, you can get the cup lip from FVD for the original price of 175.00

Hey thanks,

Does anyone deal FVD in the US? Im kinda worried about the price of shipping just to get it here from GERMANY. I want to order a few things from FVD and M&M but it has to be a arm and a leg extra in getting it here.

FVD Brombacher is actually in florida. I've ordered from them before and even with shipping the lip is still cheaper than what GMG is trying to charge.

They have a warehouse in Florida and in Germany and the lip is in stock at both locations. Florida really does have a great Porsche scene but it's nothing like Cali's scene

Some of you might not graphics, but I finally got the 3 stripes done on the car this past weekend.....

Logos are not on the car yet, but the car mostly done.

My friend Keith Vu and staff from www.savagewraps.com in Milpitas, CA did the custom striping.

A little about Keith:

Keith was a graphic artist and is now an award winning vinyl wrapper and was graduated from the FELLERS school of Vinyl Wrapping.

Process:
*Prepping by cleaning and stripping the cars wax.
*Remove all lights
*Find and measure where stripes should be and utilize striping tape
*Apply vinyl
*Cut the striping by hand
*And clean up all edges/corners

Here are a few pix:

And finally finished (4 AM Monday morning) - 2 full days to complete: Full 48 hours of working nonstop

And a couple of pix outside:

very nice, Love the look of it. It looks like cup so much now. Best part about it all is that you can remove the wrap if you get tired of it. OR another good thing about it is if later on down the line you feel like having it yellow stripe you can always switch it up. Congrats Jbigelow01 another interesting mod..Keeps getting better and better

@tone01: Thanx very much for the kind words

@lopro: Vinyl and vinyl wrap is the shiznit!!!!! Just like you said, you can always change the look or take it off!!!! Thats the beauty of it

But I love this look and am satisfied with the outcome.... so no more changes on exterior.

Thanx for being a supporter lopro!!!!

@Alex: Haven't been to the shop in awhile... need to stop by and say HI to you guys!!!!! Thanx for the compliment.

absolutly, not a problem at all. Thanks for posting such a nice car. It was really fun to watch you build up piece by piece and get to where it is now. Im just lucky that I was able to be apart of the thread. Only issue (an not such a big deal on white) is that when you leave a wrap for too long it fades the paint in the areas where the wrap is not covering and when you remove it you can sometimes see it still. But if you plan to leave it then you wont have to worry about that. I think white is one of the colours that you should need to worry about paint fade and im sure they can wax out minor fading. Good luck and enjoy it. It loooks like a dream.
