If you had a choice between a 07/08GT3RS or 2010 GT3, which would you choose?

the logical decision is a .2 GT3. Is a better car.

I just went through same decision. I love the RS but ultimately opted for a 2010 GT3.... 3.8/warranty/DEM/Sport Buckets in the car already for very little more than .1 RS. Looking forward to its arrival. I don't think there's a wrong answer here though.

Just returned from a 170 mile run with my .2 GT3 and my friend in his .2 RS. I will say again how utterly fantastic the 3.8L is over the previous 3.6L imho. The mid-range torque and top end rush is so much better than the numbers indicate.

I was also in same situation but went with .1 RS because it is more exclusive and always wanted to own an RS ever since I sold my 6GT3. Besides, good example of RSes will be harder to come by than regular GT3s (because there are more .2 GT3s out there than .1 RS). You can always get .2 GT3s later down the line.

Congrats on your recent acquisition! I can not recall the number of .1 RSs produced for the USA but am fairly certain it was more than the 645 ~ 650 .2 GT3s built. So exclusivity may not belong to the .1 RS. You can get a .1 or .2 RS just as easily as a .2 GT3; .1 RSs being more plentiful.

If it really comes down to aesthetics and perceived future residuals that's cool, but the .2 GT3 IS the better car.

Thanks. No denying the fact that newer cars are better cars as numbers on .2 GT3 already told the stories. But, cars are a lot more than just numbers on papers, IMO. Hopefully, I can find the good example of .2 RS in few years.

I agree 110% which is why I would choose the .2 3. Aside from the 1.75 " overall wider *** there is not one thing the .1 RS has that I would prefer over the .2 3.

That is a good problem to have.

I don't think you can make a bad decision. They're both sweet Porsches.

.1 RS, more rare, more exclusive, more racy (looks). But like many had said, can't go wrong with either.

I would buy the RS. Or a 996 GT3.
