GT3 RS vs Beech Bonanza

I'm considering selling my 78 V-tail Bonanza and buying a GT3-RS. This is something I've been considering for almost a year now. Haven't been flying the airplane much, and could easily afford a new GT3-RS for bascialy the same budget. Airplane hangars, gas, insurance, etc all add up to a GT3. Have any of you guys had experience with this dilemma? My wife says if I sell the airplane I'll regret it Not sure exactly what she means. Any advice?

Prolly noone here knows shiz about your airplane. What your wife doesn't know is that when you buy the 3 RS and drink that Kool Aid, she has a bigger problem. You will soon find out.

Interesting dilemma. My brother would never get rid of his plane for any car but he's a commercial pilot and strangely enough cant get enough of it. He would fly to buy groceries if possible.

You will definitely miss flying but the question is how much the 3rs can make up for it?

One alternative is to buy less expensive Pcar, S2k, or whatever and keep your plane for now. Then take the car to the track and see if the adrenaline rush is comparable (assuming you'll be tracking your 3rs of course).

Scott,

TOTALLY off topic here. I only mention this because my Father is also a V-tail Bonanza owner.

There is a 6speed member with the username of BeeGee. He has a 997TT and we got to talking about his job. The guy is a parts manufacturer and supplier of all things Beechcraft. High quality stuff!

You should shoot him a PM and get aquainted. Nice guy and super enthusiast.
