pig in a poke

Wattsers, you expecting it to have much more torque, shorter gearing and a dry sump?

I'll buy used, depending on specs and reviews.

I asked the dealer to add me to the Gt3 list as well. Should be number two on there. I'll prefer to wait for the full specs since there's all kind of talk about using the carrera powerplant instead of the regular GT3 dry-sumped and bullet-proof engine. Some of the race engineers who attended the GT3 CUP race seemed to suggest that it will use the old Gt1 based engine but you never know these days.

I also asked to be put on any upcoming GT3 RS list just incase I'm disappointed with the 997 GT3 specs.

I am on the list as well #4 I believe but they had no idea when the car was going to be produced. What info did they give you to get a summer 06 delivery?

I wonder if this side of the pond will even see the 997 GT3. Is there any officaial confirmation or only dealer speculation ?

Gents,

Latest news on the GT3. Available early 2005 but only in comfort spec.

RS to follow 6-9 months after that.

Does this raise the spectre of the 997 just being an interim model again?

I always thought the RS was the run out model...

Over to you.

P.
