Popped my Cherry At Sebring

Mates, I've been tracking cars now for 1 year and recently traded in my turbo cab for an 11 RS. I've had it since May and the car is an absolute dream. I was at sebring for the 1st time ever this past weekend and it was awesome. Here is the video of my best lap 2:29...I could have shaved at least 3 seconds if it were not for the slower S. Can wait to come back and shoot for under 2:25.

Al,

You're totally screwed. Driving an RS in anger around Sebring is not something you can just go and do once and then go home and mow the lawn and move on with your life. My condolences and a belated welcome to the disease for which there is no cure.

You're going to love driving the RS on track compared to the turbo. The linear, predictable power, the stiffer more direct suspension and rear wheel drive are what make driving a 911 at the limit so rewarding.

I've got quite a bit of time at Sebring and for your first time there your line looks good, I'll PM a few of my thoughts. What tires and brake pads are you using?

Congrats!!! anything in the 2:2x is very respectable.. Youll have no problem running 2:25 with more seat time at Sebring.. Thats my favorite track.. Good luck!!!

I can do a 2:24 on Toyo RA1 in the heat, Hooters are good for at least two seconds

The car can hold north of 120 in bishops.....if you have the nuts LOL

Turbo cab

08. Bilstein coil overs, alignment, and corner balance. If wish I could have kept both. I loved dropping the top on the way home. Car handled insanely well. Loved the car. As a daily there is nothing better. I will get another one day for sure.

Chin the 20th

I wish. I may go aug 27 within hooked in driving or I think chin will be there October 8. If I go I'll be in touch. And yes I have the nuts I've notched that I'm slowish there. 115 plus is doable.
