I'm looking for the manufacture and part number for the side marker plug on the harness side that connects to the side marker bulb. Porsche wants to sell me a harness at $1200 for a plug that cost $5.00 All help would be appreciated. I do not want to rig it. Thank you.

You'll need the actual part number (take your side marker from the other side, and read the actual part number, and give them a call.

Had to do the same for a tail light plug.

 

Part number should be 997.631.133.00 for the small 3w bulb in the side marker

 

That's the part that goes into the side marker. I think the OP wants the part connected to the harness connected to the car.

 

buy a new sidemarker it comes with the plug that the bulb sockets in to. Are you talking about the one that connects to the bulb holder attached to the car? If so Porsche wont have it on its own, you will need to try other outlets and do as bbywu says for removal and replace.
