If they got close to asking price, I'd consider that good money for a 2010 with that many miles, an accident and lacking DEM.

Dynamic Engine Mounts. The cars without them have slightly lower residuals. I don't see how a damaged front splitter would show on car fax.

carfax can be bull****, i had a car that the rim was bent and insurance paid for it, incident noted on carfax. there is really no distinction between small incidents and really bad accidents. all you can have is paperwork to prove what really happened. Carfax only reports only what is sent to them. We are going to try to have carfax note that it was road debris and that splitter was damaged. anyways benefits me on the price. very happy to be a gt3 owner.

front splitter MAY be the case but be careful..its a common theme for bad carfaxes on gt3 being blamed on front splitter. There was a guards red at stevenson porsche in denver early this year with a bad carfax and dealer said the same crap bout it being the front splitter or whatver...called previous owner and it was waay more involved that that..whole front bottom was damaged...highly doubt a front splitter would show on carfax??

don't know many people who'd even claim a damaged splitter on insurance, seeing as they're cheaper to replace than paying most deductibles. I'm sure you did your due diligence though.....maybe the guy had insurance with no deductible?

Spoke to that same dealer and car was sold. Although, apparently it was a road hazard that was claimed on ins. The underbody trays/panels can be expensive, so that may be the reason for the CarFax report. Definitely not just a front splitter replacement, although, from what they said about the car it wasn't a 'major' incident, just ins clain that was a bit costly.

sorry meant under panel, typo. correct though minor incident under panel was damaged, no structural no paint. i have repair order. i think a great deal and i got it for a little less. Carfax still can and is wrong, both ways have seen cars with obvious damage, fixes with clean faxs.
still excited for the gt3. always wanted one.
