KYROCKS is infamous around these parts
So far, the vast majority of responses confirm what I was going to do anyways...keep it and enjoy it on the track. ScooterP, I'll try and have everything ready for MSR...As for the C4S, I'll probably keep it forever since it's my first Porsche. Will probably add on with a 911 Turbo or F430 at some point, but unfortunately, all I can afford right now is an F150!

lopro, I'll sell you the GT3 for exactly what I need to buy an RS! (kidding of course)

It's funny how most of us car guys are: always wanting something better or just something we don't currently have. You are all right, the guards red GT3 is beautiful and everytime I drive it, I wonder why I didn't drive it more.

BTW, I need to replace my Hoosier R6s on my track tires. I'll either go with another set of R6's or go with MPSC's. The MPSCs are more expensive, but they last longer. R6s only last me 12-14 heat cycles. I'm not going for track records, so the MPSC should be just fine. Suggestions? (I have a set of super sports on my OEM wheels)

I'd stick with the R6 for track. My MPSCs wore out very quick on the track, and the R6s are more fun. I couldn't justify spending so much on a street tire to have it destroyed after a few track days.

As for the GT3 vs RS issue.....I guess I agree with the majority. You have an awesome car that you bought new in a pretty rare color. That is something special. The only reason you should get the RS is if you get another special color and you plan to keep it forever. No point in flipping your red GT3 if you also plan to flip the [potential] RS after a few years.

Your car looks great in those pics! Like it better without the script fender decals. What wheels are those?

Thanks for blowing that one up, lopro. That was one of my favorites too. I also like the one in the snow last year when I used to live in Iowa...

As for the black wheels, they are OZ wheels, just like ScooterP said.

Appreciate the feedback to keep the car!

I love that pic. Nice look. Sadly im no fan or porsches in snow. Im scared of salt and dirty cars. I wake up with nightmares and cold sweats.

Oz are some nice wheels, Looks top notch in CL form. Good weight for the price too

but...
we may all carry on with this discussion over here http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...011-gt3rs.html

I agree that car nuts are always wanting something new and fresh. I went through that a month or so ago and came to the determination that what I have is great and I just need to mod it and improve on it (as well as investing in track time to become more equal to what it can do). Not saying' that an RS is out of the question, but for now, I am standing pat!

BTW.....If you need an F150 I have one you can borrow!

Check this .1RS out...

The price is absurd. The car is nice. Roll bar without sport bucket seats makes no sense either.

I like it but you are right about the price and the bucket seats (lack thereof). The 07 at Park Place makes more sense and is CPO as well.

gotta love the orange ones. One of the all time best colours. Id love to have one of those but I agree very much on the price being too high.
