CAR LOOKS good, i hate to admit it but the 997 is growing on me...

i still dont dig the wing, i gotta see it in person to really see if i liek it or not...

Am I the only one on the planet who never liked the 993. I always wanted a '60's-'70's 911. I had a '77 S and an SC. I left the sportscar world for a while and when I came back, the C2 (964?) was the bomb. I wanted a C2 Speedster but it was out of the budget ... ended up with an NSX. When the 993 came out, it didn't turn me on ... I was lost. When the 996 showed up, it took a while for me to warm up to it ... I thought it was too generic, but over the past few years I've grown to really like it. Now, the 997 ... I like the rear, but the front end ... not feelin' it

I'm the other ! And I had a 993 and was never fond of it . When I see them today, they still look the same - that odd platypus nose, the VW Beetle like rear fenders, the ridiculous basket handle for the third brake light on early ones ... and the cab, with it's upright Darth Vader helmet of a cloth top profile ...uggh .

 

Is it just me or are we using 18's up front and 19's in the rear? Looks stupid.
