Suspension Questions GT2 versus GT3RS

What would I need to do, if possible, to get my GT2 suspension to feel as tight as a GT3RS?

I am contemplating keeping the GT2 and just putting more money in mods into the car to make it like a GT2RS instead of spending the extra $100K...

Contact mike at RSS in Costa Mesa. I just got their stage 2 Tarmac suspenion and love it. It is actually a better suspension set up than the 2RS.
I don't know if you had the Li battery in your 3RS but you can get a battery from Braille from the Suncoast website. Mine is 11 lbs as opposed to 50lbs for stock. But I cant drive short distance and turn it off and then back on, have to drive long enough to charge the battery up. Kind of annoying.

RSS or Tarett parts will really improve the stiffness of your car suspension

check here... Monoball is much tighter than oem rubber bushings.

a lot more involved than just springs and shocks. 997.2GT3RS has different uprights and subframe in the rear of the car, if you get rid of the rubber with Motorsports control arms and mono ***** will feel a lot better for sure.

Hey Q, glad to see your thinking of holding onto your GT2, it's a beast. After driving your car, I've since done the GT2 clutch/slave conversion and really enjoy it. I've also upgraded a few suspension parts (including monoball in places) and it's definitely tightened up the car. I'll likely upgrade a few additional pieces, but even with the suspension upgrades so far you should test drive my car. John G put it all on for me.

Advantages / disadvantages to changing out the stock parts with monoball, so a test drive should help paint that picture. Overall I love it though.

Hi Lopro, main disadvantage is really just around the noise the suspension makes at slow speeds, when moving to monoball parts. Also for me (in a turbo which comes with a much higher ride height from the factory), putting on the TPC modified Bilsteins lowered the car a good chuck (especially the front) so I'm getting used to the extra attention I need to give every dip in the road.

But to me the advantages WAY out way any disadvantage, and have zero regrets. In fact I'm thinking of replacing additional OEM parts with RSS to further increase the go-kart feel.

INDEED, I plan to replace everything I can with RSS or tarett pieces. I always try to avoid pot holes and massive dips in the road when driving if possible. Just good driving practice when on the road. Good luck an have fun with your turbo. The RSS pieces really make things feel much better.

I never hear any noise from my suspention ever. The race car RS 3.8 or the RS 4.0. No binding, squeaking, ect. From a noise perspective I can not tell ic the car has stock suspention or full race.
