The GT3 does have a few miles. You need to have someone take a closer look.

Posting this thread was in the hopes that someone here would actually know the car and tell enough about it so that one can decide if it is even worth it to go and take a look at it - it's a way to save a trip or the expense of a PPI on a car that is far away if it doesn't deserve a second look.

 

i would definately have someone lift the car up and inspect...

Likewise, I found a used 997.1 with low miles but it had 5 previous owners! Not sure which one would be more to avoid.

 

I'd prefer a low miles car with 5 owners if it has a clean ECU and passes a good PPI over a high miles 1 owner car with also a clean ECU and that also passes a PPI.

 

Any additional insight on this car?

 

The owner of this GT3 in question seems like a really nice guy. He emailed me through ebay about wanting to purchase my F430 after he sold it and we talked back and forth a bit. It definitely looks like a nice car overall for a good price. FYI, It currently does not have clear bra on the front however as it was recently removed.

Pink, I thought you had a GT3 RS and a Turbo currently? Surely no need for a GT3 as well.

Aside from having 60k miles on it, I'm looking for a silver or red GT3.

The owner (Marc) was very forthcoming though so if someone here is buying the car I'm sure it will go smoothly.

 

I am very tempted... I am sure the engine is almost bullet proof but I would assume a lot of little things that needs to be replaced due to milage.

Advise anyone? Ive never bought a car out of state.... need some help...
