Does anyone know the production numbers for the 997 GT2 and how many were sent to the USA?

I just saw the last part of the question...sorry. I don't know total production numbers. The numbers I quoted are US only.

I called Porsche NA (this may be known by most...I am not one of those who knows) and was told production numbers are "closely guarded by Porsche" and the information is not discussed. So that was a dead end.
