I just saw the last part of the question...sorry. I don't know total production numbers. The numbers I quoted are US only.

I called Porsche NA (this may be known by most...I am not one of those who knows) and was told production numbers are "closely guarded by Porsche" and the information is not discussed. So that was a dead end.

And why is that ?? Ain't fair that the public, let alone the owners of these cars, have no idea how many were produced!!
