I would guess 450 BHP on a lighter car as well. I think that is the cadence that Porsche has adopted in terms of increasing performance. It's very measured and marketing is definitley the driver. A Mk II refresh of the 991 GT3 will probably get another 20 - 30 BHP on top of that. A really interesting question will be what they do with the 991 GT3 RS. Will it have more BHP than the GT3 like the 997.2 RS does today as compared to the standard 997.2 GT3? If so, then the new RS will get close, but not exceed the performance of the 997 4.0. Seems like the right move to do it that way so the uniqueness of the 4.0 is preserved, but I could see a Mk II refresh of the 991 GT3 RS going to 500 BHP if they keep the current RS BHP differential in place. Its fun to speculate, but we will have to wait to see.
The pictures of that 991 GT3 make me want to get on the waiting list. Alas, finances are limited and college for kids looms.

I think the 997 will age well and go down in Porsche history as one of the most desirable generations.

I am still mixed on this car. I have not been a big supporter of the new 991....On this 991 GT3 the specs look great, front looks good, side looks ok, but the rear looks terrible....that wing is fugly. I always thought the 996 and 997 GT3s looked complete, this car looks mix matched...therefore I am not feeling it....unfortunately this is my reaction with most new cars from most every manufacturer.....call me old school
