Difference in price

At the moment there seems to be a difference in price of around 20k (GBP) between the .1 and .2 GT3s.

Im new to the Porsche marque and Im wondering if that gap will close / stay the same / open between them.

It will close for sure the question is how fast but there will always be a margin between.

Trying to make the decision on the extra expense.

I probably prefer the looks of the .2 but I've got to take in to consideration the depreciation - to an extent. I'm almost wondering if I could run a .1 for a year or so and then get in to the .2 after. Yes I'll lose money swapping in, but maybe by that time the difference will be less and I'll have had the joys of two cars for same outlay

Does that make sense?

Get the latest series you can afford. The later car is easier to drive with the bigger lump out back. The difference in a year will not close much, its going to be more 5+ years to see a meaningful narrowing of the margin.

Time will also tell what the consumer thinks about the centerlock wheels on the .2. A few scary events turning up out there...

A 'few' is the critical word here, just like a 'few' have popped coolant hose fittings or leaking RMS's. I'm sure a 'few' 5 stud cars have dropped wheels also. I don't think it will matter or make a difference to the market price.
