Moving to the GT3 Forum!

Just sold my 997.1 C2 named Bob to a guy named Miguel who will be joining our forum and continuing the Mods that I started! I am happy to report that I located a 2008 GT3 and will be picking it up on Monday! Pics to come soon. It is bone stock.....what would be your first 3 mods?

GMG cross pipe, then FVD Header with 200Cell.

These make it to CUP car's howling.

Fill it up, get some sticky tires and find the nearest track.

clear side markers (if not done already)
rennline or srp pedals (for enhanced heel-toe)
RSS center exhaust bypass

FVD DRL's (makes it easier for others to see you; nice upgrade)
Rennline grill screens (protect those 3 radiators form rock/debris)
clearplex for the windshield.

I'll stop there for now.

Congrats. What gonna be the new name?

Congrats on the new ride. All the mods above are great choices - I have nothing to add to the list, but I am partial to the mods that protect the car (clear bra, clearplex, radiator grills which should have been there in the first place). Once complete, then go to the track and learn to drive it bone stock.

Have fun with it.

I saw your thread on the three cars you were looking at. Just curious which one you ended up with. I have PCCB's as well and I love them. Awesome braking power.

I ended up pursuing a 4th option that was local. I am supposed to pick up the car on Monday after it goes through PPI @ a local Porsche Dealer. It's arctic silver just like my C2 was. It's a 2008 with 21K miles and PCCB's.

I hope you got the car you wanted.
Next season for track consider changing out the coolant for water wetter unless the definitive coolant fittings weldings have been done.

Enjoy your new GT3
