I have been on this forum for the life of my ownership of my 996tt and perhaps a bit prior 2007ish. All along the way making friends whom I have yet to even meet face to face but whom I have spoken with over the phone and traded emails with from time to time.

Some of these guys have had similar cars as mine and so we have compared notes on what works and what does not. Others have been great teachers such as Mikelly which is where I learned how to flush, bleed, and change pads and rotors and what tools I needed to get my hands dirty with my car.

The other day I asked about a ppi in Scottsdale AZ area and m5trol a man I have yet to ever have a conversation with or even meet the whole time I have been on the forum, ask me if I needed any help and let me know he would be in town if I needed him.

All I can say is WOW! What a blessing! Today he went and took time out of his busy day to put his hands on a car I am looking to buy and reported back to me his opinion of the car. I feel I need to be thankful to the 6 and even more to m5trol for his gesture of kindness.

As I mentioned on the phone, I ended up having to fly to Houston for this sort of thing and I knew how how important it is to have a personal touch on the local end for the car that you really want. By the way, I have pm'ed you the location of pictures I took. These cover everything I discussed with you.
