Average Yearly Tracking Costs?

OK, broad question.

Have been thinking about getting a Ferrari or Lambo, but they are not very useable...like they're not really cars, more like garage jewelery

So if I got something less exotic, there would have to be some kind of tradeoff. Now with a GT3, I could see myself learning how to drive and develop a new hobby.

So for a 997.1, what would you guess would be the yearly cost for 6 track events? Jut looking for a ballpark figure to think about.

Thanks

ChrisEVO has a spectacular aura aboutChrisEVO has a spectacular aura about
Excluding vehicle depreciation, for OE parts and $150/hr shop labor - rough cost per event:
$625 tires (MPSC; there are other options)
$ 85 pads (Pagid or PFC)
$ 110 Fr rotors (set every 9 events approx)
$ 52 Rr rotors (set every 20 events approx)
$ 83 Oil changes (every 3 events)
$ 70 Brake flush (every 3 events)
$ 102 Fuel (2 tanks)
$ 150 Event entry fee
$1277 approx per event
$7662 per year; Round up to maybe $8K

Add ons:
$1500 for diff rebuild (one time only - hopefully)
$3000/yr for track insurance; $600 per event; or self insure
$2000 for clear bra to protect the nose, rockers
$175 to swap to Water Wetter in case you blow a coolant fitting
$225 per front lip (so far 1 per year for me)
$8-10K for seats, rollbar, harnesses, HANS if the car doesn't already have them

Good luck keeping it to 6 events once you have the car
