Question....Does the 997 (+ upcoming 991 version) share the same body width
as the Carrera or the Carrera S.

Rumours/leaks say the 991 GT3 is wide body. 997 GT3's are same as Carrera's, narrow. RS is wide.

fjpgt3 got it right...

997.1 GT3 = narrow body
997.1 RS = wide body

997.2 GT3 = narrow body
997.2 RS = wide body

991 GT3 = rumours of wide body... not sure.

based on the pics so far the 991 GT3 is confirmed a wide body.
