I never thought I'd be the guy putting a deposit down for a car not even released, but here I am, ninth in line at my local dealer. I almost pulled the trigger on a 991CS2 last fall but opted for a Panamera Turbo instead. Still love that car and will keep it.

But there is something about this new GT3, particularly in white, that just grabs me. So I'm likely looking at a build date sometime next January and now I have to decide whether I will go European Delivery. Have never done something like that before and I would love to see the factory as well as take a trip around the 'Ring.

I miss my E93 M3 and its naturally aspirated V8, but I think this GT3 will make me forget :-)

Anyone else out there already put a deposit down?

I did. If I can get it in good weather months I'd like to do Euro Delivery as well. That would be a bucket list checkmark.

I put a deposit down a couple of weeks ago. I am 5th on the list and hopefully will be able to spec the car in September. Porsche will start to build US GT3's in October with delivery dates in November and December.

The car will be shown at the NY Auto show which begins tomorrow.

 

I also asked for mine back... sticking with what I've got for the time being.

 

Congrats and can't wait to hear your impressions. The Euro delivery should be awesome, I've always wanted to do that.

 

I put my deposit down two weeks ago and expect a Nov/Dec delivery. Cant wait, still thinking about color. I wished there were more interior color options besides black or black or gray.

I've had mine since March 4th and just the confirmation email today that by build has been processed to germany. got a build number as well.

July production with august/september delivery.

Are you in the States? I was told the earliest delivery would be November and no orders being taken yet.
