Hi guys,
I'm thinking about getting a 997.2 GT3 for my new daily driver. All the cars I've seen so far have the PCCB option, which has brought up an issue for me. I have a tendency to go through brakes quickly and "trash" the rotors.

My S4 has gone through 2 sets of front pads and rotors and 1 set of rear pads and rotors in 36k miles. I'm worried that my aggressive driving style will destroy the brakes on the GT3 and end up being incredibly costly. Obviously the GT3 has much Better brake cooling, but I'm still curious.

How many track days do they normally last/how many miles have people gotten out of them? I'll probably end up getting rid of the car after 35k miles and I'm looking at cars with about 5k miles(I drive A LOT).

And please, I don't want to hear any "try driving less aggressively" stuff.....Ive already tried hahaha.

My friend with his 2008 GT3 got around 12 track days out of his PCCBs before the rear rotors started flaking and were toast. Basically he was on his 3rd set of oem pads. His fronts were still OK. We swapped his car over to iron rotors.

 

Hi, my PCCB lasted less then 7000 miles and need to be replaced !
About 50% track and 50% road, but the track kills them !
and at the price they cost, I am looking at Alcon CCX brake rotors !
