Revo software???

Guys:

Has anyone had any experience with the Revotechnik 3-stage software for the '04- GT3? I know the company has a somewhat mixed rep and comes from VW-Land, but I have yet to run into anyone who has installed the software on a GT3. They seem to offer a couple of profiles, but nothing specifically tuned for a car like mine with LWF, headers and race exhaust. I am guessing that the 100-octane program would work reasonably well since there's a little timing advance in there.

I was thinking the same thing..no one has done anything for a modded GT3....when reading one of the older Excellence mags the engineer said that tuners could have a more agresive program..with the light weight flywheel...more then they think.
I have called most tuners and nobody has done anything...or
for higher octane..we use 94.

If it has been realy tuned for 100 octane it will not work.with 94 gas.

The GT3 has been tricky to achieve REAL WORLD , MAXIMUM HP. As Manthey Racing has discovered, ecu re-mapping, with properly designed exhaust has reached its true potential at 410-415 HP. Even a small flaw in design of airflow with the exhaust can also result in power loss. Even with different programs for fuel Octane. That they discovered on their MAHA dyno when they where trying to complete a powerkit for one of their Tuner clients. The next step really would be to 3.9 the motor and get 445 HP out of it.

Fabryce,

How are those engines different?

Headers look different as well....How much HP would they make at the wheels...they must be very healthy engines to compete is the Speed WC.
