As far as I know, all new Porsches have the same standard warranty that excludes "track use or competitive events".

Never had any issue having Porsche cover issues I had on the track with my Cayman...

It's almost always in the fine print of any car manual. Maybe something like a radical - but do they give you 4 years and 50,000 miles - doubt it highly.

My point was, if Porsche is asked to provide their best track car for a track car comparison, I highly doubt the GT division at Porsche would be ignored. You make it sound like Porsche considers their best track worth car to be the Cayman S.
Agreed. Is there ANY manufacturer that does not void warranty for track use of a street car???

+1. Porsche covered my 996 engine that suffered a catastrophic failure due to oil starvation on the track!

Has anyone confirmed what the delay is for the 991 GT3s? I've been recently told that all allocations for the US cars (which I'm part of) have been delayed. If anything production might not even start until extremely late this year (Dec?) or even until Q1 next year with cars now not arriving to US shores until March or thereafter?
