EVO car of the year
Btw, not that it matters, but part 1 is below:
full leather interior with red stitching and seat belts, so it should be pretty striking. Now I just need to wait like everybody else.

Since I haven't driven it, I cant compare it the 997.2 RS that I've been privileged enough to pilot on many occasions.
What I can assume, which has been confirmed by the many reviews, is that eliminating the 3rd paddle and hydraulic steering will certain change the variables in how the driver communicates and coexists with the car, but the pseudo-syncro PDK-S transmission may allow the driver to communicate with the car in a different way; coupling that with the rear-wheel steering, additional power, wider track, and other geometric improvements, may not necessarily a worse-off disposition to be in.

Manual for the street, sequential for the track. Sorry kids but there are no automatics in this bunch. Even Porsche was smart enough to send a manual version of the Cayman.

They have much faster cars for that purpose.
The Cayman S was selected - not that it is a bad track car - I agree it is an excellent choice.
Which one would that be? The one with the warranty that's automatically voided when you take it on the track?
Not too many car manufacturer's out there that warranty track use.
It's almost always in the fine print of any car manual. Maybe something like a radical - but do they give you 4 years and 50,000 miles - doubt it highly.
My point was, if Porsche is asked to provide their best track car for a track car comparison, I highly doubt the GT division at Porsche would be ignored. You make it sound like Porsche considers their best track worth car to be the Cayman S.
