why would you make a lateral move and trade your gt3rs for a r8 ??? I went the other direction by trading my r8 for a gt3. my r8 didn't excite me at all.

RS can sit for months at this latitude, only used for recreational blasts. R8 a year-round alternative with the right sneakers. Who wouldn't enjoy those rooster tails?

I drove an R8/V10 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It felt to me as though when pushed hard that the front end was constantly plowing and thus heavily understeering. My RS feels far better when pushed hard - mind you the RS has only seen the street, so that may have something to do with it. Between the R8, Mercedes SLS AMG, Nissan GTR, and Cayman R, the Audi subjectively was the worse as far as the front end feel and responsiveness to steering inputs.
