The amp I used is an Alpine 5-channel 600w PDXV9. The door and dash speakers are the Hertz 6.5" 3-way HSK163.3. The rear panel speakers are Focal 4" coaxials PC100. The 8" twin sub units (fit in the well behind the front seats) are units custom made by Car Audio Innovations and referred to as CAI with Kenwood Excelon 8" KFCXW800F speakers. The subs are necessary so that you don't try and pump too much bass through the door speakers and end up destroying them. Add into this a mess of wiring, cables, sat antennas, iPod and usb cables, etc., etc., and you are on the better side of $7K including installation. Like I said previously, it sounds great, and I look at it as money well spent. Rod and the gang did a beautiful installation job with no complaints. Here is a link to the first phase of my install before the subs, rear speakers, and Alpine amp. Car Audio Innovations' Porsche customer with Carrera 911 997 GT3 RS - YouTube
I hope this helps.
Thanks for all of the info. BTW, nice video... I will look into some local dealers and see what is available and will use your info to work from.

Thanks again and enjoy that beautiful RS!
