New CGT at dealer cost....

Anyone looking for a new CGT at dealer cost from a Porsche franchised dealership (located in Southern Cal), please send me a PM or email at: jfried993@aol.com

No affiliation with the dealer or remuneration in it for me -- just trying to provide info to the 6speedonline community.

Cool, but my experience is that dealer cost is between $416k and $422k depending on options -

I got mine for far, far less (nearly $50k less than dealer cost) - so this is no bargain.

Ben and I had some dialogue re: this some time back and there was something about the number of high demand cars the dealer would be allocated for each CGT, so it was not as bad for the dealer as it seemed.

Good luck and Godspeed

Dealer cost is actually less than that by about 10k. Happy to hear you got a better deal -- that is impressive. Now that production has shut down, it feels like dealers are being a little tougher as they know there are only a few new ones left. Not saying they are right or wrong, merely my observation.

Here is a car that just sold on ebay -

I know this car - I almost bought it - $352K -

I got the manifest, etc. and confirmed that the mileage was as it left Germany. A 2004.

Sad part is that this is happening more often - I knew it would, but took the plunge anyhow - No REgrets.

I figure it will drop to $325k new this winter - used probably bottoms out at $250 in a year.

I am putting in a standing offer, I will buy every Carrera GT that hasn't been in an accident or in need of a major repair for 250K with under 10K mileage in the next year.

Who wants to bet I won't be offered a single car? If I find a new one for 325K I will also be buying those also.

CarreraGTRacer - I applaud your enthusiasm, but I am not gonna buy another one at those prices - I could justify getting mine and taking the hit 'cause I don't look at it as an investment -

Buying them up at those prices is like tying to catch a falling knife - it will only get you hurt $$-wise IMHO

True but if you had the slightest idea about how much I love this car you'd understand
