I thought he said Nick. Somone in Bugatti sales. He had a thick, overcompensating sounding, European accent and he could have said Skip or Pimp. He might have tried to spell the place starting with a Kau . . . motorcars.

For some reason I thought a Nick gave you a ride in the Veyron and I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, same dude.
not the same guy i guess. the event was held by Rusnak Pasadena. i forgot the name of the driver but he was the chief engineer of the Veyron.

Man...it must suck to have to make a choice like this.....

I think I'd rent a CGT for about a month, then I'd go down and buy the F40!!

The Koenisigg is too high as is the F50. Looking maybe $ 500k or less. I have had my eye on an F40 at Shelton they have advertised forever at $ 325k. Shelton had an XJ220 at about the same price and it was gone immediately. I want something with more exotic lines comparable to EB110, Lambo, XJ220, F50, Zonda and Konenigsig.
I searched around for a bit, because I seemed to remember that the Koenigsegg's MSRP was around $300k. Supercars.com quoted the price to be around $350k for the CCR version.

if you can't find a car you want at that dealership, then the car probably doesn't even exist.

I'd opt for the CGT though, there aren't too many around.

Yeah, can't argue with that.
You know, he could buy your hot rod for 400k, you're not going to see another one like that on the road.

Doug, you really need to see the spyker in person to appreciate it I think. It's not the fastest or most powerfull. But the craftsmanship is something i've never seen before. That said, i've never heard a driving report, so who knows

the spyker is definitely road legal. there is a dealership in Van Nuys.

what about a 288 GTO. Classic, and if I recall, about 300-350k.

You need to read into what people say specifically more. I didn't say anything denouncing porche's racing history. In fact I know all about it. That said, Saleen is anything but someone who just "modifies" mustangs; but I guess 30 years of racing still makes you "new" to the game. inhale, exhale, repeat
