Im looking at two gt3's. One with PCCB and one without. Are brake jobs really as expensive as Im reading with the ceramic brakes?

Yes. PCCB hardware (pads/rotors) are very expensive compared to their non-PCCB counterparts. Since it has been some time since I've looked into a quick check finds front PCCB rotors listing for nearly $10K while the rear ones are a steal at $9K.

Everyone of course is different, but I'd still opt for PCCBs over the old style brakes, though. Superior brake hardware life and braking performance and low dust production.

Additionally PCCBs are lighter than the old style brakes, so the car is more responsive which is just what you want from a sports car.

Based on the brake life I get from iron brakes PCCBs would probably last the life of the car. Given their cost to replace/renew they'd better!

Oh, let me add that Total 911 did a very nice 3 part article on PCCB's some few years back, in issues 48, 49, and 50. The first 50 back issues are available on CD/DVD for a reasonable sum of money. If you are thinking about buying a car with PCCBs I highly recommend these 3 articles to you.

If you're going to seriously track the car, PCCB is not a good value.

If you're only going to use it on the street, they are said to last forever. Just make sure they aren't already worn out from previous track use.
