FVD Brombacher - insoric RealPower "Dyno-System" for individuals and shops
We have been working with insoric in Switzerland to develop a few different options of their RealPower Dyno-System which measures real world performance.
It seems that this software doesn't take the drag coefficient of the vehicle into account, nor the actual wind speeds or directions (headwind or tailwind) if wind is existant during the measurements.
Why will these factors not affect the measured results?
Good Questions and I will check with insoric to give you more accurate answers, should have those for you in a couple of days at the very most.
In the interim, to give you a better idea of how this works and exactly what factors are accounted for please take a look at the screen shot below:
You can see that Barometric pressure is listed along with the air temperature and the make and model must be entered as well. I will find out for you how this correlates to your questions and how this is factored in.
Thanks,
Rhonda
