Thought I would share my first...

track experience...Wooo Hoooo!!!!
Much more challenging than I thought. Going fast is a slow learning process, but I look forward to it. This is my first out, in the wet at Watkin's Glen, 10/07/05. I finally feel that I am being true to the soul of this car when it's driven where it's supposed to be...ciao

Though I have my issues with Porsche as a company, I will acknowledge on a track, the car is as good as it gets. It is where the car shines.

Truer words never spoken. Glad you had fun! Be sure to get all the safety stuff just in case. The nice thing about being on track, is that you can explore the handling of the car without worrying about dogs, kids, bicycle riders, cops, potholes (I hope) and other unexpected perils on the street. It'll make street speeding seem like no fun and more hassle by comparison.

Already had Hans, Rollbar,6pt, Fire Ext, Nomex undergraments on in that pic. The unfortunate and tragic accidents of the past year made it a no brainer for me...
