The GT-3 was named CAR OF THE YEAR and it deserved it.

It was also 2 seconds slower per lap than the 458 or GTR on the short track they all were tested on.
Lets see what it can run at the ring................. That used to be the ultimate test .
Now we use a BUTT DYNO AND HOW IT FEELS..........

Well, to be fair, how a car "feels" is far more important to me, than what its max lap time is with a pro driver. I think the GTR is a fantastic car for the money and it is incredibly fast, but it is no where near as fun to drive as the new GT3.

We each have our own criteria to judge BEST.
I think Red Bull F-1 make the greatest car F-1 has ever seen.
The Silver Arrow brand also agrees and is happy to have a performance edge in every race. They don't care about anything except lap times.

As I said, I agree the GT-3 deserves to win , it sets a new standard for rear wheel drive sports cars and makes some beautiful sounds all along the way.

Thanks for being one of the few who recognize and respect the GTR for what it is. So often , I read nasty reviews of the GTR that don't contain much truth.

We have recently added a 996 GT-2 to the family and it also has that wonderful rear drive feel with 500 HP and TQ . I look forward the the soon to be released GT-2 with 7 speed dual clutch and 600 plus HP. Now it will have traction controls and for all but the best drivers ,should never be turned off.

I will test drive shortly the new GT-3 and form my own opinion . Happy motoring ..
What I won't do is bash it the way many on this sight seem to respond to a new challenge.
