track tires

hello all, getting my new car ready for the track, from what i understand we are not supposed to use slicks with the new rear wheel steering system...on my 997 gt3 i always used hoosiers or michelin cup tires for track tires.. has anyone had any experience or know anyone who has used track tires other than what the car was delivered with???thanks in advance...bart

Use your sport cup2 tires your car likely came with to get a good baseline.
Unless you enjoy changing Centerlocks
