GT3 Pricing

Quick question and apologies if its been discussed before.

I have a 2015 GT3 that will be ready for delivery to me in a few weeks. The dealer is telling me the best deal on it is MSRP and that if I don't want it he can sell it pretty easily for $15k over given that production has ended and that there is still big demand.

He also said that it is highly unlikely that he can secure me an RS. He is a good dealer I have had a few from him, but nevertheless would value opinions of others.

Does this sound accurate?

Yes on all accounts.

Generally agree, but I was able to get 1500 off msrp. This was not a custom build, but I did place a deposit before it arrived at the dealership. So it was essentially sold prior to arrival.

Dealer says before I completed the transaction (last month) customers were offering msrp or over while it was sitting briefly on their floor. I feel lucky!

Probably true on all accounts. I think some dealers are willing to drop $1k-$2k.

I got a full front end clear bra on mine included in MSRP

Depends on location and demand. In SoCal the GT3s are all above MSRP.

Congrats Pmon
MSRP is a good deal esp at this time. But only IMO if the options are what would have ordered note or less.
I bought mine at MSRP from a east coast dealer and courtesy delivered to Larson in Tacoma. Worked out well but not that easy to accomplish. Allocated sept 14, built 10/31. Arrived 12/13/14. 1800 miles so far. Msrp 140k
Track alignment at Cantrell's next week.
Enjoy:-)

Thanks for the info! Are you planning to use your GT3 as your daily?

Bapesta - it wont be a daily, I am lucky enough to have quite a few cars, so this one will be just to play with. Whats interesting is my favorite daily is my truck, don't care about it to much and goes anywhere!!

Seapar - well done at getting a car with that speed of turnaround!!

Getting a discount off of MSRP was unusual when they were making them but it did happen here and there. I think any chance of that is long gone by now, though. PAG isn't making them any longer and people still want them. Maybe in the case of an unusual build (like lime green metallic with no front axle lift), but it would be an odd case or green dealer.

Thanks again for the responses. I am going to take the car at MSRP with courtesy delivery about 1200 miles up the coast in a covered truck - so I guess that is a good benefit. LED clear markers on order as well, don't know why they fit amber, not my favorite.

Also, I was thinking of holding out and maybe going RS route instead given that it looks incredible, my dealer was doubtful about any allocations at all so I phoned a few others ......and they are seriously saying $75-$100k over MSRP ....that is a huge uplift I thought, but I guess if the demand is there and people want them so badly they are going to fetch a big premium....and that is a really big premium!!!
