Question 996 gt3 oil change?

hello
does anyone have a short video of 996 gt3 oil change?


Is it pretty straight forward or any tips I need to know?

lax01 is infamous around these parts
It's pretty straightforward as far as oil changes go. The biggest pain in the *** is draining the sump as the oil comes out of that FAST and will splash everywhere if you aren't prepared for it.

I believe there are DIY guides on Rennlist and RennTech but again, its very straight forward.

I find the biggest pain is removing the filter without making a mess.

I assume you mean the tank. Sump doesn’t have much oil in it.

As for the filter, I usually pull it partway out and let it drain for a while, then hold a shop rag under the filter “neck” while I pull the filter out, not so bad.
