I always use to troll 6Speed for all my facts, figures & other Porsche info. It seems like everyone has migrated over to Rennlist for 991 GT3 posting. It would be nice if 6Speed created a specific 991GT3 area for this model. Just saying....

6speed is way too much advert spam. It's like clockwork when all the rims show up

 

No doubt about it. Been around here a long time and have to say all of this advertising bs almost makes this site not worth it. RL seems more of a purist site.

Renntrack.com is another good source for Porsche info. More track oriented for sure. Not near the spam we get here. No vendors constantly shilling thier junk products.

When was 6speed ever better for actual information than Rennlist?

 

Agreed. Been lurking here since 11. This is my first post. Hey Viprklr. How are you? See you on Renn.

 

Doing well. The weather is starting to get amenable, I have new GT3 in the stable & my 996TT is ready to go on the track.

 

The GT3 forum on 6speed has very little action. It seems RL is the place to go for the GT3. On the flip side, there is very little activity on the turbo forums on RL versus 6speed turbo forums where there is robust activity.

 

There is also a dedicated GT4 Forum on RL right after the GT4 release. That forum seems to be well updated for our convenience.

 

6 speed is like a one stop shop for many makes and models with little activity/information. RL is far more informative but its forte is P cars. And RL has almost 160k members vs the close to 100k here....the sponsor content is stronger here though thru positioning.

 

At least 6 speed's app works. The RL app has been a joke for the last month. Constant parse errors for all phone types.

 

It might be because the 6 speed GT3 forum has morphed into the "991 GT3 Forum"...

IMO, RL is more astute in that it has separate forums for the 996, 997 and 991 GT cars because each version attracts a somewhat different demographic.
