New RS finally arrived...
Saturdays are always good, but when Plycar shows up with a lava orange toy for delivery, its make it very special. Seems like forever waiting for this car. Followed it across the Atlantic and knew it arrived at the San Diego port August 28th. Then another 3 weeks for port release, dealer prep and shipment. Waiting to detail the car before any good pics, but here are a few from Saturday.
The only regret so far is that I had to sell my Turbo S to make room in the garage. Never had a GT3, so first driving impressions are hard to evaluate so far. Need a little break in time, and mostly, need to get to a track. I miss the low end torque of the Turbo, but its obvious that this RS needs to be run closer to redline to fully enjoy. The Turbo with the GIAC and exhaust would snap your neck at 0 RPM!
Thought for sure I would immediately get the GMG exhaust for the RS, and I may still, but with the exhaust valve open, this factory exhaust is pretty close to perfect. More to come...
