If the GT3 had a dry track it would be right there behind the RS. I saw that show, it wasn't just wet, it had poured. And does anyone really believe the GT3 is slower on the track than the M5, A old Vette or the Vanquish S?
You took the words right out of my mouth. An M5 and a Vanquish S? BTW I was over at the Corvette site and a guy who had bought a new Z06 videotaped some quarter mile runs. He was running low 12's. Of course other forum members cited bad conditions, bad driving and all the rest. Low 12's? Low 12's doesn't sound very fast. What's the deal? Is it all hype?

The current 996 GT3 will be a collectors item mark my word the new GT3 is going to have a crap motor with adopted dry sump..no more 993 block from what I have heard....HOLD ONTO THESE CARS AND DRIVE THEM!
We'll see. I was going to trade my Gt3 in on a 2003 Gt2, but they would only give me 85k for my 2005 with 3k miles. I just couldn't bring myself to eat 30k. Hell, I'll keep it. I was thinking rather than give it away, I'll spend the 25k and get the kit to increase it to a 3.9 litre, with 450 hp. 450 hp N/A in a Gt3? Maybe thats the way to go.

Cayman S versus a GT3 ? LOL! That show has no respect for itself. It is entertaining though....
