Maybe not but still... the Stig took out the Cayman S and it was 1/2 a second quicker around their track than the GT3... Truly amazing

Those times are meaningless.
The GT3 time was on a wet track IIRC and there's a huge difference in the way he drives the various cars by powersliding some thru turns, etc. which looks cool on tv but isn't always the fastest way around the track.

I am sure the cayman will be a great car. I do not think I will see one passing me on the 2.2 mile and 3.2 mile tracks. Autocross could be another story in the rain.
The GT3 time in Top Gear was in the rain.

Do you honestly think Porsche would make their 60k bargain 911 quicker than a GT3??? Alot of the times the stig puts out are BS. And just think... 1/2 second slower in the rain... just imagine what it could do dry...
Chill out guys
I was just saying... we all know the GT3 is the best car ever... well except for the GT2 that is...

The current 996 GT3 will be a collectors item mark my word the new GT3 is going to have a crap motor with adopted dry sump..no more 993 block from what I have heard....HOLD ONTO THESE CARS AND DRIVE THEM!
If the GT3 had a dry track it would be right there behind the RS. I saw that show, it wasn't just wet, it had poured. And does anyone really believe the GT3 is slower on the track than the M5, A old Vette or the Vanquish S?
