Question Tubi exhausts on GT3

I had the Tubi style mufflers on my 997 and I liked the perceived performance increase > 3000 RPM. That car is gone and I now have a 05 GT3. Anyone have any experience with Tubis on a GT3. I am not questioning build quality at all...my mechanic says the Tubi is the best quality he has ever put on a 997. In speaking with a Tubi salesperson he stated the Tubi has never been dyno'ed on a 996!
I found that statement to be a little odd.

Any help appreciated.

Chris,
Fabspeed is also under consideration. I understand the max flow is pretty loud, and has some resonance @ 3000 RPM. Certainly that is a subjective opinion gleaned from a P web page. The main thing I have concerns with is the statement that Tubis have never been tested on a 996...just doesn't make sense. I have read only positive comments on the Fabspeed. I've got to make a decision today and right now Im thinking Fabspeed. Price is much better too.
Thanks for the prompt reply
Doc

The best in what way?

It doesn't take much talent to create a bypass pipe or a free flowing muffler that resonates inside.

I think the build quality on Europipe is one of the best. No wonder why Manthey uses them.

We've done a two Europipe's in the past for customers on GT3s and I will say of course it's not cheap but man oh man is the quality insanely good. The sound is intoxicating... Here's what the last guy told us (ignore the t-shirt part lol):

"the europipes are on, and they are everything you said they would be. i
am impressed with the beautiful build quality of the unit. the fit was
perfect. the exhaust tips fill the outlets nicely(some other units i
had researched were lousy in this regard). the increase in sound level
is just right(not overbearing at street speed) and it only gets better
as the revs roll on. the weight savings is a plus and the hp/torque
increases are icing on the cake. if you get clients who want to talk to
owners of the product, you can use my name.
p.s. now just send me a T-shirt as we discussed....not XL. thanks. Jean. "

one word for the GT3--------------EUROPIPE...
EXPENSIVE BUT BY FAR THE BEST..Champion is huge on Tubis and when we brought the Europipe to fit in the TTX50 every guy in the shop commented on the construction/build qulaity makes the Tubi look like it was welded with a bic lighter and solder..

Can you give me a delivered price to Winter Park, Florida (Zip = 32792)? I will have the install taken care of here.

Byron,
Europipe does not offer any discount for customer. that actually makes our job easier. we usually buy them in quantity to save shipping & we cover the install cost for whoever buys it from us. i can check with EP to see if we can have it drop ship to u with no additional charge. however, the cost would be the same. the price is higher than their website because u'll get a bill from Fedex few weeks later for about $200.00 in import duty charge. just a heads up.

Arling is absolutely correct on this. The price is what it is as listed and as I pm'd a few people it's the import duty charge that comes later that's a nice suprise Damn those Euros!
