Over MSRP?
I haven't been on this forum in quite some time. I've been throwing around the idea of a GT3 Touring. I have never ordered a new Porsche, let a lone a GT3. So what I am gathering from this thread, is that the ordering process is similar to Ferrari; if your a friend of a dealer, you might get offered an allocation at MSRP. If you walk in off the street so to speak, you're probably paying a premium to get an allocation? Sound about right?
Is is often that dealers order cars for inventory? Checked autotrader, only to find 2 cars in a 500 mile radius of Boston

Carlsen Porsche in Redwood City is asking $30k over for '18 GT3 (supposedly still has allocation), and $50k over for one '19 GT3RS allocation left...
Thinking about getting a slightly used '18 GT3 or '16 GT3RS instead, but those seem to be going at around initial MSRP also. Hard to know how much discount I can get from asking.
