Can you add a back seat to a GT3?

Is there seat belts back there? Could you just add the seat pads?
Just curious because I would like to bring my wife and daughter for rides If I were to get one.

Shawn, no seat belts, or seat "humps" to add pads too. They will have to go on individual rides.

No, and it's actually illegal. The car is imported as a 2 seater, there actually are humps in the floorboard, as well as seat belt mounting positions(just have to drill and tap them). It shares the same floorboard as any other 996, just no undercoating and 'unfinished'. It can be done, but liability wise I wouldn't. Believe me, I looked into this very seriously when I got my C4S, really wanted a GT3, the back seat thing was a deal breaker.
I wish they would offer the car with a back seat, optional no cost delete, they woud sell a s load more of them.

I think this is a great question. I would love to be able to add the backseat to the GT3, or be able to order it that way. Please Porsche, please!

I can't imagine having someone in the back of a GT3. That's suicidal.

Your asking for trouble, especially legally, the car is a 2 seater not a 4 seater.

Buy A 997s

If you want a GT3 performance with a back seat, then you can try to buy
a 997 S w/ the X51 engine option + ceramic brakes and GT3 Aero kit.
It is not as raw and track car- like as a GT3, but might be good for your purpose.
