If you compare the stock header with any of the aftermarket headers you will find that the stock header is much more restrictive. Not only is the diameter bigger but the way they collect is much more efficient. The stock headers look unfinished down to the oversized welds on the inside that restrict flow. I wouldn't expect huge gains in power but you will feel a bit more power along with better throttle response. All the aftermarket exhaust components compliment each other with power. Only doing one component is obviously not as effective as doing all three. We stock several aftermarket exhausts call me if I can help.

How loud are they? and what are you asking for the kit. Is there any stated HP or tx gain?

Gemballa Powerkit...

When I heard and drove my brother's GT3, the overall tone and loudless I would say is between having a Fabspeed muffler and A Fabspeed muffler bypass. The tone is pretty deep and very intimidating (sounds almost like a cup car). As far as HP increases, I do not really have this readily available as we have never dynoed his GT3. A good guesstimate I would think would lie somewhere in between 40-60 flywheel horsepower depending on climate and settings. This kit is good condition (as you can see from photos) and all it needs is a good cleaning and some polishing.

I like to get $3500 for the entire kit plus shipping. Thanks

LOL. I saw that too a while back. I e-mailed them and kindly let them know that a GT3 does not have diverter valves, and if it did, somebody forgot to put them on my car. I still have not received a reply....nor have they changed their website. LOL

No way will you get 40-60 hp. If there is an ecu program to maximize the headers, ect....+30 hp would be the most you could ever hope to get with a NA motor....

powerkit..

Well like I said, it was only a guesstimate with my butt dyno. Perhaps 30 flywheel or 15-20 whp is more realistic. However, the sound is quite amazing. Let me know guys and help me spread the word. THanks!

i made 28 max HP to the wheels with my new headers. about 10HP to the wheels at redline. it's possible with the right headers.

Yeh but you lost 10hp when you took the GT3 seats out.
