Are we done ASSuming things yet?

fyi, street conditions change one street from another. One road might be perfect driving conditions and the next might have less than perfect conditions.

Glad the driver is OK. I wonder how many of these cars are being sent back to the factory and being rebuilt like the Ferrari supercars. If they aren't being rebuillt it will definitely help the resale value on these cars because there will be fewer examples.

I'll throw in my $.02 here... what do guys think about this.. I think Porsche should send every new CGT owner a free weekend at PDE (Porsche driving Experience) Of course it's their choice to attend, I think most guys would attend, and would learn quite a bit. Whats $2500 when they are selling $450k cars? I look at sending guys to PDE as education, you don't hand a knife to a Doctor and say have fun do you?

Porsche has already done so. I believe they had their first class in Alabama at a Skip Barber track a few months ago. They should have done this back in 2004 when they were delivery these cars. Instead, though not sponsored by Porsche, someone had Hurley Haywood spending a day with a CGT owner and his car at a private track( I believe in N. CA) for a mere $50,000.
