I think that the other cars - vettes and caddy's have a horsepower advantage over the P cars- But thats a whole other discussion
The 997 has definetly shown that it will be faster than the 996-
I think that will be the next step- I can tell you that there is over 250 hours of development and testing in the 997 for world challenge trim. Needless to say - that all takes a pretty healthy budget.. I think that next year that car will be the platform to run.
I think we have a competitive car this year and will be in the points for the championship- we arent about to sit on the sidelines and not fight for the championship- We have our own bag of tricks and will do what we need to in-order to be competitive.
One thing I have learned is that championships are points games and you need consistency to win them. James is a smart driver and has been doing it long enough to know what needs to be done.
Its a long season - only time will tell...

Leighton's shop is 3 miles from my office and I stop by there occasionally
to see how he is doing and ask him why we are both still alive after some
of our "snowmobiling exploits" 20 years ago. Good Guy, great driver.
