My dad and I have been looking for a GT3 to make into strictly a track only car. Lightened up, race tires, brakes, seat, bar, belts etc.

Do you think this would be a good car to do this with?

 

Depending of the extent of the damage, this may be a good car.

 

Certainly a candidate, but I would check it our, drive it, have all the alignment specs checked out etc...

Oh and I'd be thinking a lot less than 69K.

 

If someone hits a GT3 and it's not the GT3 guys fault.
His car gets screwed at re-sale.
Can you sue for re-sale value loss after the repairs? I am just wondering because if you can't I will be driving with my Glock to shoot people who tailgate me..

 

i doubt you can make a case just because of resale on a certain car. Who knows though, crazy law suits have been brought up before, you never know!

It depends on the state. Some insurance companies will pay out diminished value checks for this kind of thing. BTW they aren't going to offer up this without you asking for it. So ask nicely for it.

Oh yeah, this mostly only applies if you weren't at fault for the accident.

 

I hope the person who bought this car knows about its history....
